Soul Full - Yoga

I truly believe in the healing powers of yoga and think everyone should practice it no matter what age, shape or size they are; yoga is so much more than contorting your body into weird shapes, I would love to help you on your yoga journey.

Class Schedule

Wednesday 
 

Yang to Yin Wednesday 
6-7pm, Cosmetik Clinic

This class is a perfect end to hump day Wednesday and will help us transition through the rest of the week. The class will help release stress build up which manifests both physically and emotionally. We will practice pranayama (breathing exercises) which will help quieten the system, before easing and stretching out the body –we will the move gently through  floor based postures, moving with the  breath and melting in to where it feels good. The class will finish with an extended guided relaxation.

Wind Down Wednesday 
7.30-8.30pm, Parkhouse Therapy Centre

In the slow flow class we will move mindfully with the breath from asana (yoga posture) to asana. We will hold asanas for a few breaths to punctuate the flow, to build strength and flexibility whilst still remaining soft within the transitions. The flow will be based on the sun salutations and each week we will build on and discover new asanas. The class will contain some pranayama (breathwork) and a well deserved deep relaxation at the end.

Thursday 
 

Soul Full - Slow Flow
Thursday 6-7pm, Cosmetik Clinic

The flow will be based on the sun salutations and each week we will build on and discover new asanas. Soul Full - Slow Down Thursday 7.30-8.30pm, Parkhouse Therapy Centre

The aim of the class, is to relax and restore and help ease us towards the weekend. The class will help release stress build up which manifests both physically and emotionally. We will practice pranayama (breathing exercises) which will help quieten the system, before easing and stretching out the body – the session will take elements of yin yoga where we will hold some floor based postures for a minute or so, gradually breathing and melting in to where it feels good. The class will finish with an extended guided relaxation.

Friday 
 

Soul Full - Friday Flow
Friday 9.15-10.15am, Penclawdd Community Centre

This class incorporates much of the above classes where we will move mindfully with the breath from asana (yoga posture) to asana - some days we will be more a more floor based restorative practice, others we will flow and balance, dependant on the vibe and energy of the class participants. The class will contain some pranayama (breathwork) and a well deserved deep relaxation at the end. Whatever happens I promise to ease you beautifully in to the end of the week,

One to one and group sessions

One to one sessions are perfect whether you are just starting out in yoga or have been practicing for years.

My one to one sessions are designed to your needs; you might want to try yoga with me as a beginner, before joining a bigger class, or if you have been practicing for a long time, it is helpful to get back to basics and get some hands on adjustments to ensure you haven't crept in to bad habits.

​

I also offer small group yoga for friends, parties, corporate events such as wellbeing sessions.

Nidra Nights

Come along and dedicate some time to jump off the hamster wheel to deeply relax and replenish.

 

Yoga nidra means “yogic sleep” and has many documented benefits for your body, mind, and spirit. It is when your body & mind are actually in deep sleep but with one big difference – you remain consciously aware.

 

This is done by going through a series of techniques to systematically become physically, energetically, mentally & emotionally relaxed.

 

An hour of yoga nidra is equivalent to up to four hours sleep  - who doesn’t want a bit of that?
